I kind of wanted to watch it but did miss the NBC special. Did anyone else watch it and doe you believe his story? And there was talk that he was profiled????

If he was stupid enough to try and get sex in a bathroom stall then he needs to be booted. Yes I believe he is guilty. I listened to the tape and nothing convinced me he was set up.

I caught part of it. Matt L. did mention profiling in that since Sen. Craig did things which are known as pick up signals in the gay community that he was profiled. He did a good job of telling his side of things, but I agree with Mike, he's guilty as charged.
Now he claims he wants a chance to defend himself against the charges against him and to clear his name. He pleaded guilty a month and 1/2 after the incident. This man has been a Senator for 30 years. So he has had a hand in making many of the laws we all obide by. For him now to claim he should be able to retract his guilty plea and fight it is reprehensible.
I believe it's all about saving face. He got caught at something he was trying to hide. His family believes him. Doing the interview on TV was probably a mistake and I hope it comes back to haunt him. JMHO.

Come to think of it, perhaps the Republicans and Democrats are not that different.

Clinton didn't inhale and Craig didn't swallow.

to me it is not that important that Craig tried to pick up a guy, which is pretty gross, but it is the dishonesty. Most men just dont talk to other guys in the head, let alone play footsie. But most importantly he is lying about it.
