Reading "A Blended Harmony of the Gospels"

Not really a big reader. Used to read more, but for the past decade or so, not very many books opened. Last book I remember reading was A WALK IN THE WOODS by Bill Bryson, probably the only book I've actually read in the past 10 years? Hysterical. Great read. I'm not a big Bible reader either. Catholics, for some reason, don't read a lot of the Bible, but we hear it read in the Sunday mass, over a 3 year cycle the good book is recited.

I picked up a copy of A BLENDED HARMONY OF THE GOSPELS recently and am loving reading it. Most people know that the Gospels are written by multiple people and often tell the same/similar stories from different perspectives. In this book, which is a conglomeration of the various Gospels, the stories are intertwined into a narrative story, and written in modern English so it is easy to read. Its a fairly short book, just about 300 pages in total, but I'm finding it very enjoyable to read.

The book is based on the story line of TV streaming series THE CHOSEN

My only real criticism is the book is printed on fairly glossy paper so it picks up glare on the pages and, depending on the light source, can be slightly difficult to read. But other than that nit pick, if you might be interested in reading the stories of Jesus and the disciples, in an easy to read format, without bogging you down with chapter/verse markings or obscure terms and phrases, this might be a nice book to check out.
