Parking brake cable needed 1202A Spryte

I need a parking brake cable for a 1202A Spryte. The wire cable broke just below the handle. The Thiokol part number is 1214002, but without a cross reference to a manufacturer's number it's a dead end. Anybody know the actual part number or manufacturer? As Thiokol used off the shelf parts, does anyone know what it might have been used for? maybe a 1967 era forklift?

Given where the break in the cable is there is no way I can shorten it and swag a new end on. I found a thread that recommended Bruin Brake Cables for custom made cables, but I don't want to go down that route unless I have too.

I know pictures help. Pic 1 - end that goes in the lever, Pic 2 - end that mates with the brake, Pic 3 - overall length. The cable assembly has a metal exterior. Looks a little like a CJ5 jeep cable.

While I reacheded out to catservice, we has a hard time connecting with the holidays and all. In the end I sent the cable to Speedometer Service and Instrument Company (https://www.speedometerserviceportland.com) and they put in a new core line with new swagged ends in short order and for a very reasonable rate. I believe the ends came from Orschein Products but Orschein Products only sell wholesale. I popped the cable in today and all is good. With NOS parts in short supply for these machines, finding alternative sources isn't always easy.
