He's a senior in high school and is planning on video production as his major in college. Based on this, I see the potential. He has done other productions but this latest one is one of his best yet.

He made one DVD and is selling it to raise money for college. Another one (including the linked video below) will be on sale mid winter. He sells his DVDs at his website of http://www.jslzone.com

Best wishes to your son in his endeavors. It's a good thing when they have focus that young. I think it gives them a leg up on others still looking for something that moves them.
 
That's great creative work. I'm still trying to figure out how to get my 8mm videos onto DVD. :sad:

I must say that I personally don't get the music though. It sounds exactly like what one of my daughters listens to but I can't say for sure because to this old fart it just sounds like someone being tortured and screaming. Again, no reflection on your son's work and creativity, just that genre of music. Maybe I should like it. I always secretly longed to be a singer, but couldn't carry a tune in a bucket. Heck, I was the only person in high school choir to make money....they paid me to quit. Anyway, that sort of music doesn't require any singing ability, just the ability to scream. I can scream off key just like them. It may take me a while to be able to do so without getting hoarse, but I think I could. Just don't ask me to sing anything and be on key though...:biggrin:
