Hi,
I have recently acquired a Snow Trac that I intend to restore to its former glory. I fell in love with them when I saw some in Nenana, Alaska whilst there on holiday in 2015. Its taken me a while to find one in the UK, but I finally did - chassis number #1914!
I am currently researching it and using this forum for a lot reading and prep for the fun ahead. I believe this is an ex-millitary one (British?) as it is painted green over red, has the lifting eyes on the front, towing fitments at back, fabric roof, has a 24v system and appears to have had a very well fitted extra fan fitted into the air cooler that runs off the belts. If anyone can provide more information on the military ones in general or even this particular one then I would be very very grateful.
I have attached some initial pictures for you all.
Thanks
Mike
