We used one in the house trailer while our house was built. The mattress that the rental company put in the trailer was a $99 cheapy that was maybe 2" thick. Monica and I both got up stiff each morning. After about a month, Monica's Mom gave us one of those. It helped, we could at least move in the mornings. If you have a good mattress though, I don't think you need one. When we were looking for mattresses to put in the house, we tried the whole memory foam mattress, and neither of us liked them. We went with a nice conventional mattress.

I've used them (from overstocked.com) on my last two beds. For sheer comfort, they can't be beat.

i will never sleep as good as i do on a waterbed. unfortunaly my lady cant sleep on those so its a spring matress for us.

I heard that, I miss my waterbed. I think Monica poked a hole in it on purpose.
