- Kyle Myvett has been credited by the Cape Coral Police Department in Southeast Cape Coral, Fla. for stopping Justin Schimpl as he was allegedly robbing Myvett and a neighbor's cars
- Myvett did so in the early hours of the morning while dressed in his Batman pajamas

On Wednesday, Aug. 27, the Cape Coral Police Department revealed that they had help catching a burglary suspect from an unexpected vigilante — a neighborhood man dressed in his zip-up onesie Batman pajamas.
When authorities arrived at the scene of a home burglary in Southeast Cape Coral, Fla. at around 2 a.m., they were shocked to see that the suspect had already been detained by Kyle Myvett.
“CAPE CORAL MAN IN BATMAN PAJAMAS HELPS CATCH BURGLARY SUSPECT,” the department wrote in a post on Facebook.
