I see them near an old stone quarry around here a lot this time of year, foxes too.

Gone But Not Forgotten
They are on the move a lot this time of year. We get 3 distinct groups almost every day. They will hang till hunting season or snow hits. Then they usually end up down lower in the pines and hemlocks. They have been checking the feeder for corn so I guess I will have to put some in soon. Usually wait till the bears hibernate so they don't tear up the feeder.Those look like good sized birds Dog!
