I'm not for buying furrin equipment, but I know lots of youse guys like the brand. Anyone have any experience(s) with the Kubota B26TLB?

Congrats on your new TLB!!!

I'm not familiar with the B26 setup (it's a new model, isn't it?) but after seeing the JD110 then orange in the next post, I thought you opted for the L39 setup.

Out of curiosity, what made you pick the B series over the L? They're great tractors but being only about 60% of the size (guessing on the % here guys) of the L, was it that you needed something more compact/maneuverable?

Congrats Bob. :thumb: The B26 sure looks nice.
I have a Kubota, but no hoe, so I'm jealous.
Kubota makes a quality product. I bet you have years of trouble free operation from your TLB. .....Now the waiting begins....like a kid waiting for Santa. :yum: :D

after seeing the pictures of what you wanted, I too, thought you would get the L 39, as it is the closest to the JD 110.

That's nice Bob! What are you going to do with it?

It my be a little small for digging burial plots for old Kristi's but I'm sure it will eventually get the hole dug.

What I wanted was the dinky little Bobcat B100B. But once the request got into corporate procurement hands they started making their own decisions. I hate that. Thats why today I am dealing with repairs in the GMC they got me instead of working out of a nice reliable Chrysler or Ford truck (there, that should start a ruckus).
Anyway, I needed a compact, light weight, non-skidsteer loader/backhoe for extracting our seismic equipment and returning the land to its original state. The Bobcat met all of my requirements. I did not spec or select the JD or Kubota.

PB, it will be in your backyard in a couple of months...

Hows the Gotta Mechanic Coming. Did they ever figure out what the hell was wrong with it this time?????

Glad to see you are getting the Kobota. I will be getting a Case 430E 4x4 A/C cab ect ect if all goes as planned!

Putting it to work.
Extracting a Seismic Vault
Working in the Snow

Now Bob, that you have the Kubota how do you like it? I do believe they make a very high quality and productive loader/backhoes. My L39TLB continues to amaze me in its capabilities. :thumb:

I haven't had a chance to operate it yet. I've been too busy making sure the station removals go as planned. Next week I get to play! :thumb:

I know this unit has less backhoe lifting ability than the other two we were looking at.

My primary job is installing them, but I'm also the supervisor for construction, servicing, and now removals. Each station only stays in for 1-2yrs before getting moved to the next area of the country.

I'm all confused but that's a subject for another thread.

Back to Loaders and backhoes...
