Life has taken lots of unexpected turns this past year. I mentioned previously that the flywheel on my Kristi was shot. Have moved past that…DPR machine shop supplied a new balanced flywheel for my 34HP engine. I do wonder, maybe I should have just swapped the whole engine for a 1600cc version with some room to grow? Either way, the flywheel issue is resolved. That fixed, the fuel pump (I assume aftermarket…it’s electric) decided it wasn’t reliable, so has been replaced. Had the tank boiled out while we were in there. Some lighting issues resolved as well.
Tracks still not done (almost ready for assembly) and only myself to blame. Long story short, schools in my small town are struggling and this fall, due to facilities issues, trailers were brought in. That, along with some other personal factors led us to make a move. Good news…it’s worked out great. My son is happy and my wife and I are too. Bad news…I have no shop to work in…but I’m figuring that out. New neighbors are awesome. One of them has informed me that he has a powder coating oven available anytime
Well, terrible snow here this year. I’ve written the year off due to aforementioned personal issues and am aiming for next year to have her back on the snow. Not another lost Kristi, just behind schedule.
