Most jet engines are designed to ingest a bird and not have an explosion like this. I wonder what this test was all about...

Frozen or thawed makes no difference. (They showed that on Mythbusters.)

Actualy, on Myth Busters, the thawed chicken did more damage but that was to the windscreen. I was a jet engine mechanic for twenty two years and have seen a ton of FOD. Birds not only did more damage but smelled muck worse than a tool box.
