It's dead Jim....

I think it's dead.

238,542 miles.

Been consuming a lot of coolant lately.

Went to start it tonight, and it cranked about 1/4 turn, then stopped.

It won't budge. Starter engages and tries, but does nothing.

I believe it is spelled H-Y-D-R-O-L-O-C-K.

Removed 5 of the 6 spark plugs. Broke the wrench on the sixth. I'm going to guess that's the one that is locked.

Next weekend I think I will be checking out the year end incentives on the 2006 F-150's.

Would you be referring to the pickup truck you used when you drove to Lowell to get your snowblower last year? Bummer.

Partially melted bearings on the camshaft.. probably better if it won't crank over.

I had a jeep that ran for 5 minutes the morning after a day of 4X4 fun.. going over jumps etc... didn't know that a hole had been poked through the oil filter. Upon hearing wierd engine noise.. revving the engine doesn't help much either. :pat:

Nope..... it is just rusted in place because it is probably 100,000 miles since it was last removed.......:hide:
