Impulse snowcat adventures

Only pojintychopper i know is in idaho. I was east of there in winter storm EZRA playful weather pattern. I did park behind a lawyer firm last night

The BR180 got to do something useful. Under it is a soft spot that refuses to freeze. Built a snowbridge.
After sliding off the trailer due an awkward parking situation. We moved over for an uphill log truck. We couldnt get going again ( iced road ) backed off at an angle and the pucker factor was 9/10.

There is water seeping up from the weight of the cat. The water is important as once its froze it will carry the tractor. 19k lbs that grooms this segment

Yes! The trick is pushing the steering sticks out of your head. The rig steers off the right armrest area. Left hand can do the blade between your legs. Two of the sticks/valves have different shaped knobs.(leave those alone) I think we will master it in a short 12 years

So a coupon and a sicker from a delicious smole house across the street from the welder-up expose' did motivate anyone. Maybe ill double the amount of stickers from this adventure. I have been wanting a weasel diff for a project. The T-16 in this will take its place. Only minor design changes needed but a nonreducted controlled differential is just what the dr ordered.

Anyone want to guess the weight? Of the truck trailer and fn-20

I drove the Tucker 3 miles to my local restaurant, last weekend. (Located on a MAJOR snowmobile trail).

I ran out of gas on the way home. (I didn't put many miles on it after I filled the tank, weeks ago.......... probably gets 3-5 mpg).

The tank is just a boat-can, and it isn't bolted down... so I just tipped it up a bit so the gas would pool up at the pickup tube and I made it to the airstrip. (1/4 mile away). A friend of mine volunteers to supervise our local trash-collection site, there. He drove me home to get a gas can. (I had two that were full).

I KNEW the Tucker got poor fuel enonomy, but I didn't think it was THAT bad. (I'll be checking my supply EVERY TIME I drive it, from now on).
