Idler wheel replacement for Thiokol 3700A or B

Has anybody tried to replace the front idler wheels and tires on a 3700A or B? I noticed a 3700C and a 3700D with solid idler tires. It seems the solid tires would be better and easy to swap out if the bearing sizes matched.
