I like to collect movie DVDs

I like watching movies on DVDs. TV is so ridiculous with ads popping up every 5 minutes that it spoils the mood so I hardly turn on my TV. Also I collect those that has CC or SDH as I'm hearing impaired. In the past going to movies wasn't much fun for me so I'm catching up.

Doesn't matter when the movies are made, if I haven't seen 'em I get 'em on DVDs and some I've seen but want a keeper. So far I have 796 DVDs that I picked up from pawn shops and some at Walmart $5 bins. I keep them on spindles as the cases takes up room.

There's still some I'm hoping to find and add to the collection but they're getting thinned out as the blue rays are taking over. I like crime drama and sci-fi but not so much comedy.

So do y'all collect too?

My sister in law is a movie maven, has hundreds of DVDs.

i have over 1,000 channels, tho ads annoy me so often, i'll mute my television to shush 'em.
i've scads of dvd's- tho my dvd player broke after its 1st use. my pc has 1 too- that won't function properly, either, so internet & television suffiice. local bars have TV's, too.

while on deployment I was a deep discount dvd best customer now I have a dvr so I record the programing I want to watch during the day and watch later at my continence. one plus to the dvr is I can ff through the bs commercial's.
