HOLLYWOOD admits liberal bias, calls Conservatives idiots...

Well it is obvious to anyone who bothered to think, but its now confirmed and on video. There is a real Hollywood bias against conservative ideas and they actively push the liberal agenda.

In clips that will hit the Internet to promote a new book, producers including "Friends" co-creator Marta Kauffman and "House" creator David Shore say Hollywood discriminates against and belittles conservatives.

. . . In one video, Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman says that when she cast Candace Gingrich-Jones, half-sister of Republican former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, as the minister of a lesbian wedding, “There was a bit of ‘fuck you’ in it to the right wing.”

Kauffman also acknowledges she “put together a staff of mostly liberal people,”[/I] which is another major point of Shapiro’s book: that conservatives aren’t welcome in Hollywood.

Maybe that’s because they’re “idiots” and have “medieval minds.” At least that’s what Soap and Golden Girls creator Susan Harris thinks of TV’s conservative critics.

However, the ranks of dumb right-wingers has dwindled, according to Harris, whose video has her saying: “At least, you know, we put Obama in office, and so people, I think, are getting – have gotten – a little bit smarter.”

Some of the videos have executives making rather obvious revelations, like when Larry Gelbart and Gene Reynolds talk about pacifist messages in M*A*S*H or when MacGyver producer Vin Di Bona says anti-gun messages were a recurring theme in that show. . . ​

Personally I like to think that I’m ‘apolitical.’ I never vote, on principle, and believe that Liberals and Conservatives both have some policies that I like, and have those that I definitely don’t like. I wouldn’t care if the President elect was male, female, black, brown, yellow, white, or sky blue pink, with yellow dot; I just don’t want a party in power who wants to create a ‘New World Order’ and whose manifesto policies smack of stifling, political correctness, to the point where one cannot leave their home for fear of upsetting someone of whom one had no such intentions…

I don’t want a party who wants to strip me of my constitutional rights, surreptitiously, or who want to ‘Big Brother’ me with their oppressive ideals of how we all should live, to the point that (in one case in the UK), teachers were to reprimand kindergarten children who used the terms ‘Mommy or daddy’ in the classroom, for fear of offending those who’s parents were divorced. I kid you not!

One cannot help but notice that this type of ‘life theme’ is portrayed in films and TV shows, often, and it’s a bit of a worrying concern, imho. Don’t get me wrong. I utterly believe in most human rights principles, but it has been taken to extremes in many cases.

And, not least against divorced Fathers, whose rights have been totally swept away by custodial legislation, etc. And this is definitely portrayed, and seemingly acceptable to many in the media and in Hollywood who are responsible for our programmes content.
