Hi,

I'm Dave and I popped in following a link on snow-trac.com. I have been fond of the ST-4 for many years since finding out snow-tracs were "real" and not just a Matchbox toy. I have been wanting to build a scale model, in 1/10 to 1/5 scale but have not found enough info available to do it.

I look forward to getting to know people on here and perhaps being of some use to others as well. :hide:

Thanks for having me.

Welcome and enjoy.................... Stay away from Skurka, he'll corrupt you and convince you to buy a real Snow-Trac............:yankchain:

He's really the heart and soul of the oversize snowmobile forums ................ :D

hehe, ok. But heck, I would probably buy one if I had the money and force it into the living room as a conversation piece.

Well look around and if you need any information about the Snow Tracs we have a bunch of guys here who know all sorts of things and I'm sure someone here can provide the information you are looking for. If you want to build a scale model then you might do some searching here because we have a member, who occasionally visits from England, who is also a model maker. I'm not sure what his progress is, he's not posted much, but you may want to contact him too.

Hi Dave. I used to live in Carlsbad/Encinitas. I hear it's been warm down there recently. Welcome and post often.

yea, it's been between very warm and plain hot since I moved here in mid July. We had one really heavy rain last week.
