President Macron is still in power, but is essentially a figurehead with no 'government' beneath him.

The Prime Minister has been forced to resign after an overwhelming "no confidence" vote.

There does not appear to be any logical coalition that can come together in the near term, the next scheduled election is not until mid-2025.
