Back when I was a kid...like 6 decades ago...I saw one that was a single ski up front and what was probably a chainsaw or maybe snowmobile motor out back hooked to a prop. That has stuck in my mind for some reason, probably because I envisioned running it on our lakes that used to freeze solid back then before the climate changed.
We also have abundant wheat fields snow covered (not this year so far) where a guy could get in serious trouble...but oh what fun!
