Just in case you didn't know (how could you not, it is big news :poke: ) the cable/satellite TV station UNIVERSAL HD is starting up the Firefly series again, and the first episode plays Saturday (tomorrow) July 28.

And it will be in glorious HIGH DEFINITION for those who have HDTV (and what self respecting Sci-Fi geek does not? )

Also, and this is a biggie too, the SCI-FI channel will be running an 8-hour Mini-Marathon of FIREFLY all day on Friday August 10. Unfortunately the SCI-FI channel does not broadcast in High Definition (at least not through Dish Network).

On the other hand, UNIVERSAL HD will be broadcasting the whole series in High Definition with a different episode played each week.

END OF THE SCI-FI GEEK REPORT:
You may now return to your regularly scheduled abuse of your bodies :boobies: via the porn on the internet. :pat:

Oh, and it should also be noted that my annoying FIREFLY and SERENITY images in my signature line will probably disappear after Aug 10 when the Sci-Fi channel has its marathon. So you all have that to look forward to

How could we NOT know? It's been in your sig line in an obnoxiously large format for the past month. :pat: :poke: I do see you've recently changed from the Serenity to Firefly which is a little smaller.

Hey Bob, know this is kind of changing the subject but since you admitted to being a sci-fi geek.. this should be up your alley.
Just read a blurb in the paper that Leonard Nimoy is going to play Spock again in a new "Star Trek" film. Its due out xmas of 2008. Captain Kirk has yet to be cast, but William Shatner would likey have a part in the film.
