Drudge Report, Citizen Free Press, ZeroHedge, Real Clear ... sources for real news?

I have been a fan of The Drudge Report for a couple decades. Matt Drudge did a great job of finding real stories, rewriting the headline, and posting the links to the stories. But over the past 8 or so years The Drudge Report transformed, it is now an empty shell of what it was, I don't even know if Matt Drudge is there anymore. It now is much more "mainstream" and that is why I've drifted away. I still visit the site, but rely on it far less over the past 5 or 6 years.

REAL CLEAR is a website that has various pages like REAL CLEAR POLITICS, REAL CLEAR ENERGY, REAL CLEAR EDUCATION and several more category pages. They write some of their own content. They are very much down the center. Just as likely to post a story from Washington Post as from Breitbart. They tend to actually post both as point-counterpoint, which is refreshing. Their own reporting, usually more in depth is great. I love REAL CLEAR. Visit it daily. They update it each morning. And then they add stories in the afternoon. Well worth visiting.

ZERO HEDGE is another 'go-to' website for me for headlines, but with a libertarian viewpoint. They often quote a story, adding emphasis. They write some of their own. Mostly they look at stories from the economic/stock market/financial and geo-political perspectives. Probably my favorite website for news, but it does have limited focus and limited scope. S

But the new site, which I am loving is definitely right leaning, is CITIZEN FREE PRESS. It is like the old/original Matt Drudge website. Just a list of links, but they rewrite the headline. Great content, which is just a list of links. I have been searching for a Drudge replacement website, this is a good alternative. I've been using OFF THE PRESS, and still do, but despite the lack of fancy graphics, for me, Citizen Free Press is better.
