I ran across this U-Tube on Bubble wrap to use for insulation.

I have used Bubble wrap for years to improv window insulation.
Bubble wrap diffuses sunlight making it good for houseplants.
It also provides privacy yet lets in all the light.
I use it extensively on my greenhouse.
Cheap and easy to install yourself.
The water works for install yes
However, I tape or staple it.

Don't the staples break the glass?
Light isn't an issue for me. I've found moving blankets work very well for insulation. Thumb tack them to the wood frame.
