Just bought a Muskeg what type fluid does it take for steering, it has two steering arms on brake master cylinders . Is it brake fluid or hydraulic? I’m new to the world of bombardier Muskeg. Where can I find service manual for these rigs ?

Yes, brake fluid in the steering cylinders and don't use synthetic.

In the front drive unit, DO NOT use gear oil. It will glaze the brake bands causing you to loose your steering. Use either Chevron Mineral Oil, or I prefer CAT T04 oil in 50W. It's available from Cat for about $112 per 5-gallon pail.
