Love her, or hate her, her book is #1 and selling more everyday. Very good video clip from the Leno Show and surprising positive audience reaction.
One thing of note to me that Anne stated concerning all the whining about the lack of civility in politics was when she pointed out how civil politics was when there were only three television networks in the U.S. She then pointed out that there was even more civility in the Soviet Union when there was only ONE television station. Now there are more and more media outlets, talk radio and the internet and conservatives are now being heard. Good point!
I'll be buying her book today.
I think too many folks are too thinned skinned when discussing politics; yes, even here on FF. I say it is our duty to discuss politics and government; because if we don't debate it among ourselves for fear of upsetting someone else, the politicians themselves will have sole control of the agenda and all you "civil" folks will be forced to meekly live with it.
