I found this disconnect from reality astonishing.
Leslie Stahl, during a 60 Minutes TV interview, is talking with a released hostage who was taken on October 7th during the Gaza raid on the music festival and the various towns near Gaza, During the interview she seem to assert, or imply, that there is no food in Gaza, and that Hamas did not intentionally "starve" the hostages, but rather there was no food and everyone was going hungry.
The hostage clearly states that Hamas had food and was eating in front of him, while he was staving.
All evidence shows that the hostage was telling the truth. Literally billions of dollars of aid, much of it FOOD, shipments went into Gaza every year, on a very regular basis. Hamas, evidence also shows, took control of the trucks and food and then sold it to the population after it gleaned off what it wanted for the Hamas fighters. But Leslie Stahl seems clueless to facts in this portion of the interview.
This is the sad and ignorant state of our media.
