Snow Cat Serenade, 2026

Heck ya! Sun Valley I hope!
Sun Valley...eons since I've been there, watching all the beautiful people after hanging up my skis for the day.
A good friend has a second home in Ketchum that I need to crash sometime. He's 78, an ex instructor, and still kills Baldy.

Damn that would be fun but doubt I'll be able to get my Imp off my mountain, or more accurately my trailer. Snow depth and needing a wheel bearing on the trailer and time is slipping away.
I stayed at the Columbia Gorge hotel eons ago, probably 20+ years for some sort of anniversary thing, and they closed down afterwards for a couple years pending new ownership. It was close to $200/night but included a breakfast feast to die for and an afternoon champaign get together on the patio. Pretty cool place.

Good timing for this post! We are just getting the first layer put down for everyone! Those photos are hard to deny, it was a great time. Looking forward to Trek Mastering another year!

I have heard of this mythical creatures attendance....... I finally found its mention....

I can not confirm or deny its accuracy.

and one last word and or words, redsqwrl is coming, the best of snow flake crushers

On a serious note, I am not sure of my travel plans this winter. But I am prone to take off randomly on varying trajectories, usually to deliver or pick up a snow cat. a plan is just a starting point for me and right now I don't have any starting points outlined. for reference I planned on attending an ARA performance rally Wednesday night, doing recce today and wandering around a parc expose' telling folks how fast we used to be..... then meeting family for *more* drinks and dinner(s) ........
Im on the couch, at home, in front of a nice toasty fire coffee in hand wondering which chariot to hitch up........

from experience of interpreting Redsqwrl speak ( graduate course )

the Sqwrl is saying, you will not know and or am I telling you/anyone that I am coming, though I am coming, so you will be really surprised when you see the long tailed Redsqwrl. Always keep the world guessing is Redsqwrl M.O., and guessing and guessing and guessing.

ah ha, busted, Sqwrl, I know the famed Sqwrl has room reservations for Snow Cat serenade, also it has been confirmed, a snot track has been positioned very very close to Hood River, Oregon.

Dont be surprised, it is just part of Red Sqwrl deception game, with out doubt.

Red Sqwrl will deny all the above.

It is just part of his being secret agent Red Sqwrl...

Redsqwrl will be crushing snow flakes at snow cat serenade 2026
