It's been snowing pretty steadily for the last five days in western Colorado. Some parts of the Elk Mountains have received up to 8 feet of snow in that timeframe. I've only seen this much snow in a week once before, back in early January 2005. I'm doing my best to keep our road open, but could only get the bottom two miles today. The rest will have to wait due to high avie danger. While breaking trail the snow was up to the headlights. Here's some pics from this morning at 9600' elevation.

Been in (drove) a snow cat once in my life.
We had radio problems on a high peak.
I had to turn around with our four wheel drive as the snow was too deep.
Our secretary ordered us a delivered snow cat at dawn the next morning.
I found it and started it. The windows were freezing solid and it had no power.
I turned on the two way and asked whoever why we had no power and freezing to death.
They said see that round ball on the dash, pull that out
We were running on the starter motor. Whoops, I was a just a kid.

Yes it is. Tucker original Friday special. Door has a bad hinge that needs to get replaced. Latch is fine. Have not figured that one out yet. Any tips on on where I can find one?
more than likely the hinge came from McMaster or the local hardware store, might even have one laying around, need picture of what you have, understand they are extremely valuable, if you need one
