LMC 1500 emergency brake problem

Hey all, my emergency brake is completely stuck in the down position (released). I’ve tried turning the knob at the top, but it’s still stuck.
The cat drives fine, but I’m a little worried about parking it without having an emergency brake

any advice is much appreciated

My LMC1500 support group tells me that if equipped with the Chrysler 727 trans and is driven to far with the parking brake engaged , the brake shoes will break apart and damage other internal parts. So far my search has found none of these parts.

I see thanks. My parking brake is currently disengaged. So I don’t think that’ll be a problem. But I can’t get it to engage.

I just put it in park and lower the blade
keep fo to release it
you can’t buy a new assembly ( if that’s what’s wrong) from a distr if neede

Thanks! I don’t have a blade, but I just try to avoid leaving it on steep inclines. Trying to locate a new assembly now
