which tread pattern for bobcat t650?

Hey! I’ve run both patterns on similar terrain, and I’d lean toward the T650 Zig Zag, great bite in mud and snow, and it holds up well on mixed farm use. The Multi Bar rides smoother on grass but can struggle in slick stuff like wet clay or deep snow.

I’m in Illinois and mostly run my T650 around the farm — dirt, mud, grass, and some snow clearing in the winter. I’m trying to pick the best tread pattern and narrowed it down to two: Zig Zag and Multi Bar.

T650 Zig Zag Tread Pattern: Better overall traction in mud and softer ground, and usually handles snow reasonably well because the zig-zag lugs can bite into slippery surfaces. If your ground stays wet or you’re often in muddy spots, this could be the better choice.

T650 Multi Bar: Smoother ride and better for mixed surfaces, especially if you spend a lot of time on grass, dirt lanes, or hard-packed ground. It tends to tear up lawns less and is quieter on solid surfaces, but it won’t grip as aggressively in deep mud or snow.

Since you also clear snow, I’d lean slightly toward the zig zag tread, as it typically does better in winter conditions. But if your terrain is mostly dry or you want to protect grassy areas, the multi bar is a good choice.
