Anyone know anything about them?

Do they allow a lot of light in?

They have to be installed where light will come into them. The super shiny insides do a great job of moving light around and down the tube. Dont expect to light a large area with just one, diffusers help but still, it is a tube.

Some of them even have lights in them for when there is no light.

Will a skylight not work in the area you want them,.

Danny,

I'll be replacing my roof next summer and will be replacing the existing skylights as well.
I was considering these for lighting an upstairs hallway and bathroom.

Just remember that at times of darkness, unless you get the ones with lights in them, you have no light.

they do work great for areas like stairs where you dont have a great expanse of area to coverl.
