The optical illusion

There are sights that can fool the eye. They're not true in any way, but the impressions they give, can be pretty strong.
For example, the optical illusion of fish, the variety you find in the market, is that they look psychotic. Their big, bulging eyed and sharp teeth make them look like very hostile creatures, who adopt violence as a way of life.

You've got a great imagination

All the ones I've caught have those same bulging eyes
But, I considered it a more surprised look
look like very hostile creatures, who adopt violence as a way of life.
Actually, they do
I once hooked a too small fish
Before I could gently bring it up, saw a larger trout open it's mouth and eat it
It was a 14 inch keeper
Might be why some are called 'Cutthroat'

On a side note;
The searun cutthroat are as good or better fighters than steelhead

illusions - everyone I guess, including me has at one time or another said " the camera don't lie. "
And that would be true. Its a dumb thing, it gets pointed and does as it is configured to do. Faithfully.
The camera, just like guns, are at the mercy of the one doing the pointing. In fact they forced to faithfully serve the intentions of whoever picks them up and points them. Cameras don't lie -- I was part of an experiment once where about 10 film school students took the same 30 seconds of footage and edited it whichever way they felt like to make it tell a story. I think you can imagine the outcome.
