Tesla says hit it with a fine grade of scotch bright. Issues solved and no damage to finish.
It is just iron on the surface that is rusting. More FUD on Tesla.
Lots of haters. Propaganda it thick on Tesla and Elon.

Cheaper grades of stainless like 304 can be somewhat magnetic and rust. Whatever you do never sand stainless with a sander pad that you sanded mild steel with or a wire wheel thats not stainless.
