Interesting Email I got today:

You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction.

You call me "Whiteboy," "Cracker," "Honkey,""Whitey," "Caveman" and that's OK.

But when I call you, nigger, Kike, Towelhead,sand-nigger, Camel Jockey, Beaner, Gook, or Chink
you call me a racist.

You say that whites commit a lot of violenceagainst you, so why are the ghettos the most
dangerous places to live?

You have the United Negro College Fund.
You have Martin Luther King Day.
You have Black History Month.
You have Cesar Chavez Day.
You have Yom Hashoah
You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi
You have the NAACP.
You have BET.

If we had WET(White Entertainment Television)we'd be racists.

If we had a White Pride Day you would call usracists.

If we had white history month, we'd be racists

If we had an organization for only whites to"advance" our lives, we'd be racists.

If we had a college fund that only gave whitestudents scholarships, you know we'd be racists.

There are over 60 openly proclaimed BlackColleges in the US, yet if there were "White
colleges" that would be a racist college.

In the Million Man March, you believed that youwere marching for your race and rights. If we
marched for our race and rights, you would call usracists.

You are proud to be black, brown, yellow andorange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But
when we announce our white pride, you call usracists.

You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But,when a white police officer shoots a black gang
member or beats up a black drug-dealer running fromthe law and posing a threat to society, you call
him a racist.

I am proud.

But, you call me a racist.




Tell me, please how this view is wrong.

That view is not wrong. Reality and what the agenda of the media plus minority groups are two different things.

Heres another difficult topic........ Its going to be hard to get activity on this one, I believe.... I'll go out on a limb here and agree with it... The difficult part here is getting your point across so you dont appear racist, over the internet.. There are many double standards in this country, New Orleans is another one that still has me fired up... As much as I dislike Rodney King, his "cant we all get along" comment hit it on the head.. If we all accepted the equalities that we have today, we probably wouldnt have to fight for them, nor would we need the dedicated channels and programs listed above promoting racism.. It seems to me (a white boy from Miami) that some of the more racist people I have met in my life are "minorities"..

Greg hit it right in the eyeball. I'm not trying to put a wrong meaning to "education", but in my mind, that doesn't mean organized learning. I always assumed that the colleges/high schools and such, were for the most part, institutions of lower learning in some respects. There has to be some out there that don't practice the "feel bad for me, because of my background", mentality.

I've been in groups where I was the token white guy. I hadn't even noticed until one of the other students said something about it. It seemed he was confused about it. He was from the inner city of Detroit, and likely didn't have much contact with white boys. But we all got along fine, no problems.
I'm wondering if the real problem isn't our government and media. By stirring the race issue, it diverts peoples attention away from the real problem. And unfortunatly, there are a lot of ignorant people out there of all races and ethnicity.
Personally, I see no room in our world for any of this crap. Do I think there is a sinister plan of the shadow people in our leadership? Yep, and what better way to divert the masses than with the "race issue". I've been called the racist slurs before, but I know how to handle it, for the most part. Have I been discrimanated against, absolutely, many times. Do I let it worry me? Nope. I just consider myself a little smarter than the idiot that started it.
As long as we have the media and government pointing out all the differences, we're going to have this problem.

A short story.
Years ago, diversity training became fashionable with my former [Thank God] employer. Each class consisted of many people, upwards of fifty at times. There was the cute little flip charts all over the place. On one of the flippers, the class was asked to list racial names, read that slurs, for each race group. Another was there to list the differences between black and white. Another was for the white/asian differences, and so on.
Then, after the differences were pointed out, the class was lectured on tolerance of each other, and how the differences identified each group. WHAT???
Now let me ask this, who picks their friends and whatever because of the differences in your background or whatever?
I, myself, choose to look beyond the differences in all this BS.

Hell Racism ? If you put 10 people that are black, yellow, white or brown , blind fold them all put them in a room with guns , and they wouldn't care about the color! It's about Respect and Attitude. Now do the same thing with ((out)) the blind folds on and lead will be flying in no time .
If you give someone respect they dam well should give it back If not then they need to have there ass kicked
Fear or Respect we just don't have it any more !!!!!

We as people need to take back are streets & cities ,we fear the gangs ,they do not fear us. The word NO means NO not maybe or ok if your good, we will think about it's NO. But we don't want to be a bad guy. Use it more the word NO
If not history will repete itself.
