Quick question. 601 deep snow performance?

I'm currently looking at trying to buy a 601 up here. The question (or at least one of them) is how well does the 601 preform in deep snow/powder. This is the main concern since Vadlez does get a fair amount of snow through the winter, and yes it is snowing today. The 601 I'm looking at appears to have the stock track on it. Thanks

Did you notice if the version of tracks still had the paddle every 5th or 7th grouser?

They do not do very well in Bighorn mountain powder. If that helps you any. They basically still drive on the dirt and push the snow out of the way with the unit. Firmer wetter snow. I'm sure they would probably do a lot better. But my experience in the mountains light fluffy snow. They will just continually pile up in front of the cat until it can't push it anymore. Then you back up. Choose a new line around the snow pile and keep going.

I don’t have direct experience with mine yet, but just going by the track area versus machine weight it won’t be the best deep powder machine.
