Imping...the last hoorah?

Season coming to a close pretty soon. Still plenty of white stuff to be had but will probably be a mud hole a month from now

It’s been a funky season for sure! Hopefully I’ll be able to get out a couple more times here in Idaho. We just got 8-10” and there’s still a solid 4’ at Baker Creek! We’re headed to southern Utah next week, then back here to the snow. It’s great to see your imp performed so well this winter. Mine has been awesome too.

Looks like both of you are used to cat now.

Sounds pretty healthy too.

If you dont have a easy way to drop the blade for beer runs ( visiting the neighbor ), just add a ballast weight in the back.
Estimate the weight of the blade. Mix up some concrete and form up a box. Make six if you have to load them by hand.

I need to build some kind of rig up off the ground where I can rest the blade for easy removal and getting reattached. Kind of a crap shoot getting it lined up without a second set of eyes helping to hook it back up.
She sounds healthy at high idle warming up. Straight stack exhaust, no muffler. May look into slapping on a muffler this summer.

Dont you need a swing set? All winter walters swings sit in the garage and mikes chain fall takes their place.

Chain fall is nice after u figure out the balance spot. ;-)

Chainfall. Great idea I hadn't thought of. I could run a horizontal beam between two trees and hoist up and down from there. Would give infinite maneuverability after - to your point - finding the balance spot. Line the blade up with the cat, vs the cat up with the blade...blindly.
