I am looking for the gas cap for a 1969 Evinrude Mate 1.5hp outboard. The caps were the same for the 1969-1972 1.5hp and 2hp models, I believe. (reference number 5 on the attached diagram) I have looked EVERYWHERE! They don't seem to make them anymore, so I think my only hope is getting one used from someone. I posted this question here a while back, but I am still searching. And now spring is upon us, and I wanna get out on the lake! (It's my only gas powered engine!) Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
