Health - Medicine/prescriptions

Health in an emergency or long-term situation is extremely hard to deal with.

I'm just going to touch on prescriptions for your consideration.

As I recall, over 30% of the adult US population uses some sort of prescription. For the most part, they have 30 days worth. For some, their life depends on it. For a large % of others, it keeps their head on straight. For the remainder, it's still needed.

So, if SHTF and the pharmacies shut down and/or there's no refrigeration for the meds that need it, what happens? Those people get desperate to find what they need or don't look and accept the consequences. At 40-45 days, there's a whole new situation going on which isn't good...

Do what you can to stay as healthy as possible as well as retain a cache of meds to take care of you and yours.

Maintain your health and take care of medical and dental issues NOW.

Staying in shape (diet and exercise) is probably the best medication for the long haul.
