I just got my headset intercoms, Comunica Superlinks. Man, these things are the greatest thing since pockets on a shirt!
I looked at aviation systems and NASCAR type setups, both seemed like they would work, but pretty pricey.
Do many of you folks out there in snowcatland have these setups in your cat and if so, what are you using?

I don't have a headset, but I could use an intercom between the cab and extended cab on my SkiDozer (I don't want to cut out the back of the original cab.)

i took the terra phone out off the rally car when i sold it.

these are kind of the bottom end of rally car intercoms, that does not mean the quality or usability is poor. Fancier ones just have more ability and or usibility.

i have it riding around in a box in the imp.

turns out the imp is not that loud.

Hadn't heard of those. Do you know what a 2 headset system with a music input port runs? The system I have is self powered and a radio interface costs about 150.00 which runs the price back up to the 250 range. I can hum a tune for 150...

I have head sets in my KT7 . Every passenger has his own . They are interfaced with the stereo system and they can talk amongst themselves or listen to music . When someone starts talking in overrides the music and then the music volume slowly comes back up to whatever volume I had it set at after the talking stops . AS the operator ,My headset overrides everyone elses. It is called Soft Com . It took me a few days to get it all set up and working correctly .The control box is just to the left of the power switches in the overhead console
I like it .
