I'm not so sure it's new, it's new to me. Chiller network a show called Scare Tactics the premise is not new, It's where a friend you up for a practical joke but in this case they pick something that scares you and the build a skit and scare the crap out of the victim. it's channel 257 on Direct TV and they are having a marathon tonight. If your bored check it out.
 
It's not new either. It's been on for a while now. I think it's a stupid show but that's probably just me. I don't think it's the least bit funny.
