I know I'm short but im not sure how a model of a BX is gunna sort that, besides im not sure how my geometry is a problem
Hey, I wonder if they make little peddle ones
PS, I got it sorted I think, just needed to lengthen the arms 200mil, then I can get the 600-1000mil rams in and lift to 1600mil
Spose the people in the shop might get a bit peed when the see you stub out yer cigs on the seat, and scratch yer arse in front of the kids who are lining up to be next for a ride
When yer designing the brackets to hold the ram pins, try and make em with a tapered or radius towards the end. It will help keep stress down in an area thats gonna have plenty going at it. A look at the boom of an excavator will show you the thing. I have some pics here too I took (followed by my tape measure when the driver went home ), can send em on if you like.
Those brackets can also aid you in positioning the cylinder in a more vertical plane too. You'll get more lifting force then. It always helps, when you can get it up without breaking a sweat or asking for help
