Connecting plenum to concealed mini split.

I'm installing a "concealed" mini split and needing to use only 1 vent. The supply opening on the air handler is about 20 inches wide. What would be the best way to connect the full opening to the vent? I do not have to run a bunch of ducts. Can I connect a register box direct to it or a plenum to a register box?
