I am looking for some Bombardier t16 center section gears. Does anybody know of a reliable source that isnt a scam? Gosh it has been a struggle to find parts for these old machines, and overwhelming how many scammers are targeting Track rig part sales.
The t16 differential I have is in my Nodwell FN60 I am restoring. I found a chunk of a tooth when draining the diff. Needless to say that took the wind out of my sails. I have been replacing all the wheel bearings on the walking beams. Even removed a walking beam to replace the urethane bushings(That was a chore).
I was planning to just flush the differential with oil, fill with new CAT TO4 and go as there wasn't any grinding or noises when i first moved the machine. fluid samples never lie!
Who took over for Brad? What happened to all his inventory and business? I have been trying to find a contact for any former employees or whoever took over, or got ahold of the inventory. He was such a savant for these machines. A huge loss for sure.
