man, is this weather a change from the recent gloomy stuff that we've gotten. the grey clouds have gone, & it's bright & blue. when i went thru the pathway to the front of my place, was waiting fer the usual dampness & cold. was cold in the pathway, as it's a tunnel of brick, tho when i got to the front, the weather was so pleasant! ahhhh~
 
We are having a beauty up here but it is only 37 so still rather chilly. Cold has settled in as I have ice all the way across the pool and in the water hole in the pasture. If we get snow now it will lay.
 
It was a great weekend! My oldest son came over from Columbus and we pretty much spent the weekend at the gun club. My youngest joined us on Sunday. Between the 3 of us we shot 800 shotgun shells (Jarod and I 350 each, Colt 100) ................ :gun2_smi:
 
I had to work the better part of the weekend. :( I did get out yesterday from about noon until dark and took one last pass at everything to get ready for winter.

Today's forecast will be decent but starting tomorrow, 40's during the day and 20's at night. Won't be too bad since it won't be raining.
 
Sure is extremely mild the past 2 days and sitting at 54 right now. The front is out in Ohio now and should come through here late tonight. By Wednesday going to be kind of chilly and a chance for lake snow.
 
68 and sunshine! It's beautiful right now but a cold front is coming through later this afternoon so the clouds will move in and then rain this evening and colder temps. I sure am enjoying it this afternoon though!
 
We are at 58 but the wind is getting crazy bad. Had to dodge a tree that blew down on the main state road over in Pa. earlier. Lots of branches down as well. The leading edge of the front is now into western Pa. and it won't be long till it gets here. Going to do a last minute check for stuff that will blow around. After Sandy my one big trash can was way down in the field in front of the house. Drove the dogs nuts till I went and retrieved it.
 
Wind was crazy here an hour ago. It's calmed but it's now raining.
 
I had to close the end door on my building to get the side door open. Wind was pushing it that hard it was hard to open and close. Took the skid steer and pushed the rest of the new wood under the woodshed. I hope it soon dies down here.
 
we got a sprinkling of rain; was pleasant enough earlier. a hoodie was almost too much. have yet to see snow. i'm fervently waiting! last winter was kinda non-existant.
 
It went from 58* this morning at 7:00..with heavy rain all day..to i think 34* now at 6:00pm...wind has been 20-25mph all day..with a predicted low of 25*..high tomorrow of mid 40s...:hammer:
