I have had this machine for over 40 years, but about 8 years ago my shop burnt down and I lost all my books and information on it. It has the flat head Chrysler rear engine with 4 speed manual transmission. This is located at a remote hunting camp an hour airplane ride away. I need to replace a wheel bearing and seal. I have bearings. They are Timken 2788. I modified the wheel seals from the 2 piece OEM set up to a 1 piece seal over 20 years ago. I found some old receipts with part numbers, but not sure if they are correct. When I changed over to the 1 piece seals, the 1st ones I ordered were wrong. I returned those & got ones that worked. To further complicate things, we also had a 1974 diesel machine out there for several years. The receipt I found just has bombardier wheel seal written on it, so I don't know if they are correct for this machine. The OEM seal part numbers are 602003200 for the metal part of the seal that presses into the wheel and 670020300 for the rubber mud excluder that rides on the spindle. (Found these numbers on another receipt). The spindle diameter where the bearing rides is 1.5". If anyone has the diameter of the spindle where the seal rides or a part number for a1 piece seal I would be most grateful.
