Detracked my Snow Trac today

Well today I was out playing with the kids and I detracked my Snow Trac while showing them how to turn it around. Unfortunately I was on dirt and grass. I should have just waited for tonights snow storm before I went out. I know thats why it detracked. Oh well live and learn. Pictures to follow.

When you trade in a real snow machine (KT-3) for a toy (Snow-Trac/Master, whatever), you've got to expect such things.

On a SERIOUS NOTE, you can by replacement tracks for those things. There is a guy who sells them on Ebay. They are NOT always available, but I see them for sale from time to time. But don't type in a search for "snow trac" on ebay because the auction is usually listed under "snow track tracks" or something like that. So make sure you type in a search for "snow track" when you look for them.

I found this in my storage shed in Boise. I have no use for it, so you can have it. The cleats aren't quite as aggressive as yours, but maybe it will do. Shall I throw it on my trailer and haul it down to you, or would you like to come up and get it?

We won't count this as an 'official' K.R.I.S.T.I. rescue.

I think it is very clear that Bob Pierce is clearly confused. He did not find a track piece for Snowcat Operations Snow Trac, what he found was a way to increase the horsepower in his Kristi.

Hey, you better hang on to that. SnoOp may need it if he can't get the Subaru engine to work in his Slac-Master and has to revert back to a VW.
