After sitting for a couple years due to leaking slave cylinders, the Spryte ran today! So nice to hear it purr. Thanks to everyone that recommended Spryte Improvement in Idaho. The quality of the brake slave cylinders was excellent, making installation a breeze. So exciting to bleed them and see everything work properly again.
Moved your "Biden will defeat NRA" thread to the gun discussion.
I also 'edited' the story. I did NOT remove or add anything. I just put some spaces between the paragraphs to make it easier to read.
tried to call you at your cabin this weekend, looks like you already went home. my Tucker ran well until 2 min after I stopped at your place. I started having a wiring issue, it would die, i would wiggle the wires on the ECU harness and then it would start and run for a minute or two. made it back to cabin. Tried to find short and then Tucker wouldn't idle anymore,,, UG! looks like I water in fuel.

Thank Jim. I got some tires by the way. Took awhile to get here then a week in customs. I have been going through wheels and bearings etc. Where does one stop? Hope you are enjoying some snow!
Thanks for adding me to this forum. I have a Thiokol Spryte, such a great machine! I’m not very savvy with forum’s but am hoping someone can help me find a slave cylinder for my Spryte. One was removed for rebuild and lost. Thanks

It’s an OC12. I will give Nancy a call tomorrow for new slave cylinders and brake bands. Thanks for the input.

They're awesome to work with, they do bands and cylinders, the slave cylinders are around $475 a pair with the old cores turned in, but I'm sure they can take care of you. A friend of mine used some case backhoe slaves on his project "Rusty" if you're familiar with his build. Parts are expensive but well worth it for these old machines.

Happy to be the currier up that part of the state. Always a great trip!
I merged a couple of your threads and posted the YouTube video that you were unable to post. I just wanted to make sure you heard it from me. Not censoring, just getting rid of duplciates and putting in the link you couldn't get.

Its all good. Keep them coming. But you had 3 posts with exactly the same thing, I just wanted to clean that up. And the video was essentially the same thing, so I merged that in too

Thanks Bob I do appreciate it. Just want to let the world see the truth, some thing the MSM's are NOT doing.
Hi mguffey
Did you own the freighter and kitten in the photo on the thread you started? I know a little about the freighter. I would like to know it's history.
Thanks

We gotta quit humoring rudi. He's just looking for an argument and it's why I said won't reply to him anymore. If he can't get a rise out of anyone he'll get bored and fade away. JMHO.

I suppose.
But I also don't get the chance to be a burr under his saddle...
I've been following the sprocket issue. My Dad worked for Equipment Services in Anchorage when they were the dealers and bought a new ST4. If I remember correctly they were re-facing the sprockets back then. Has anyone tried this approach? I have a friend here in Homer that owns a Propeller shop and they re-build boat propellers all day long. They weld new material on the edges and grind off the excess. There's a specialty welding rod site that might have the correct bronze. I'll check it out.

i welded bronze for centering tabs on the last set when i installed them. our small weld supply shop had the bronze wire.

Personally I like the idea of building it up with weld material.. I would think that as long as the original has some teeth on it, they could be built up successfully...
Hi Folks, Finally got on the site! No more creeping..I'm in Homer Alaska and have one ST4, #390 and an unknown S/N Trac Master. Would love to hear from others in Alaska with the same. Thanks to JimVT and 3512b for the contacts. Im fairly handy with some things but not so much with Computer programs. They just don't speak english to me. I didn't mean to exempt others outside Alaska, would like to hear from you too. Just harder to come visit. trying to post pictures... maybe get it one day.
I'm probably not your first connection but wanted to introduce myself. I'm Gary Porter in Homer. I have an old beat to death Snow Master and just picked up an older ST4. I just about have the engine out and am looking for a good restoration shop to overhaul it to like new condition. What an exciting project! what kind of shape is yours in?
I have an sv250..when i turn ,the track bangs sometimes actually locks up!!!I have adjusted the track..are my tracks on backwards???.the grousers have one higher steel on one side and lower on the other..Please help...
Something weird is happening on my trivia answers. When I play, my scores record. Then a while later they go away. I play again, scores stick.

It's not really a problem. I'll never receive the big bucks for first prize. But it's curious.

Does anyone else have this problem?
give me a call , would like to get steering wheel and turn switch paid for and shipped.... im cranking on my resto 928-919-0657
