Pretty good storms rolling through right now, heavy rain, small hail and wind.

That was us to, lots of wind but no hail. Branches and limbs are down all over. A big limb came down on and broke the barbed wire fence out by the road. That's a job for next week ... if my back gets better. If not, there's always a week after that one.

It's hot today, 75 degs for the high temp. Possible rain in the morning and a big cool down. There's even snow forecast for Saturday.

Yay, mid 90's today! Finally feeling like May in north Texas

We had high winds last night and a little rain this morning. It started out at 61 degrees earlier and has been dropping ever since, supposed to drop down to the low 30's tonight.

All over the board here. Sunny and 70 then t-storms and 60, rinse and repeat. Oh, and then calm winds to 40mph winds in a matter of minutes.

Ok. In Louisiana, mosquitoes are the weather...
I have been silent not to jinx the 3-skeeter-free months I have been enjoying, (even though it meant enduring cold weather).
I have watch their evolution since they change every year...
Was amazed how much smaller the 2025's were than the 2024's.
They were 1/3rd smaller!
Well, their rapid evolution continues!
Finally got me a copy of a 2026 and it is even smaller than the 2025's!
I don't think they will be able to drink enough of your blood to lay eggs!
They may be evolving themselves into extinction!!! (which would not be bad)
My picture is an extreme closeup so you can see it's legs. It is tiny, compared to the original 2023's, which were twice it's size!

Temperature is great, heading towards 90°F, partially cloudy but the wind is blowing like hell again. I've been trying to spray the yard for almost 2 months but the wind won't lay down.

Very cloudy, cooled down to the mid 80's, couple of showers around! Actually pretty nice outside.

We had freezing temps this morning. High temp today was 52 outside, inside it was 58 degrees.
