The wife and I were just talking about getting a slab of ribs, smoking them first, then finish them off on a hot grill.
Shrimp salad and shrimp melts: toasted English muffins with shrimp, covered with Velveeta cheese then melted under the broiler.

That sounds fantastic. There's a local pub here that has shrimp tacos on Tuesday. I stop in when I can. It's funny because it's an Irish pub, but they make a good taco, lol.
I prefer corn tortillas to flour.
Flour appears to be more popular, but I like corn. (And I like frying mine in butter, before I fill it with whatever is going in it).

I like both, but each on has it's proper application, lol. For instance, enchiladas are only made with corn tortillas.
I like corn tortillas better too. Especially if it's toasted in butter.
Dang, I'm getting hungry now. It's only 6, but I think I'll finish up here and come home.
A fried egg, bacon and cheese sandwich on sourdough. Maybe some strawberries and raspberry lemonade sherbet for desert.
The wife made pizza on homemade sourdough crust.

I do the same thing, especially in summer. I can add fresh basil and other fresh herbs to spaghetti sauce, same with frozen pizza. I can make a frozen pizza taste like it's from a fancy place in town.

Gonna have the 2nd half of my rib order from last night with Alabama white sauce.
I buy a vinegar and mustard bbq sauce by the gallon from my favorite bbq joint in town (doesn't need refrigeration). I order bbq from the place out here without sauce so I can add my favorite.
Last time at the grocery store I bought Alabama white sauce for a bbq change up. Don't know if others have had a good white sauce? White sauce - in 1925 a guy named Gibson up in the TN valley near Huntsivlle came up with a horseradish based bbq sauce. It caught on! Makes an excellent bbq sauce. Still being made by his descendants... A lot of people these days order groceries online... if you can order Big Bob Gibson White sauce... I recommend it, a good sauce.
