Commercially Available Magazines
  • Bon Appetite
  • Food & Wine
  • Gourmet
  • Mother Earth News
  • Organic Gardening
  • Road & Track
  • Sail
Association Magazines
  • Americna Rifleman (from the N.R.A.)
  • Avanti (from the Avanti Owners of America Asso)
  • Oliver (from the Hart Parr Oliver Collectors Asso)
  • Acres (for New Holland owners)
I typically switch some magazines yearly, so Car & Driver will probably replace Road & Track. I alternate between Sail and Crusing World, both are bluewater sailing magazines and someday I will have a large sail boat (or so I keep telling myself). Organic Gardening magazine has gone downhill over the past few years, it will not be renewed. I am looking at subscribing to a farm magazine, Hobbyfarm, or similar.

At work I subscribe to other magazines that I don't get at home:
  • Chicago
  • Autoweek
  • Family Handyman
  • Popular Mechanics

Yes, I do.. I read a magazine each night. I will at least look at every single page. Most are read and some that don't interest me, I move on. I also read a book every 8 days or so,. Most all, are historically related about Vietnam in some way or another,.. I do not read "war" stories, just historical or as close as possible to historical.. I get a lot of construction related short story topics in the mail any given month.. Most all of these, are read page to page, although they are only 15 pages to begin with....

That would be the 'Daily Mail' Dunno why its there, I think I spilled some yoghurt there and put that on top so I didnt get yoghurt on the invioces. I hate cleaning though I seem to do alot of it. And no it didnt, theres a 'News'paper called The Star which is famous for its lack of news, either that or theres 'page 3' of the Sun also famous for its lack of news ;)

If catalogues count, I get Screwfix and Northern tool, and no, Screwfix is not about setting up dates ;) its tools :D

I love to read magazines from the fifties, when I was a kid. What a different and uncomplicated world it was. And everybody was looking forward to a brighter future.
Popular Mechanics; the future was rockets and nuclear powered planes. Everybody had a combined car/plane to go to work with. Actually, he went to work, smoking a pipe, she stood in the kitchen in an apron, high heels, baking bread, wawing goodbye.
Very little of what people thought the future would bring happend, or it happend in a way nobody thought of.
Like mail, in the fifties they thought that rockets would bring the mail across the oceans in just some hours, nobody thought of E-mail.
What scares me the most is that its probably the same way today, the future will develop in a direction that we are not capable of seeing now.
Only one way fo find out, stay alive ! (and stop smoking!)
