Took my Kubota RTV for a road trip. Stopped at one of the fence lines to visit horses.
There were 4 but a palomino and a cream really liked the attention.
Not sure who smiled more, me or the horses.
Me - because I love horses.
Them - because I spent several minutes shooing away the flies around their faces.

Here's something that didn't make me smile, but it did my wife. I just finished making dinner, pics to be posted on the appropriate thread, and was all dressed up. Earlier I forgot to shut the gate by the garage and some of the cows came in to the front yard. While I was driving them out, Daisy the milk cow raised her tail and crapped all over my nice shirt. I did not see the humor in that, at that time anyway.

This is "Baby Armadillo", less than a foot long, I pet it. It rolls up in a ball until I stop. Hubby tells me it doesn't like it, but I think it does. Comes up every evening for pets
We treat them differently. So far this year I've got 4 armadillos tearing up the yard and flower beds and 2 hogs tearing up the yard. Last night I got 2 more hogs rooting in the pasture on the far side of the lake. Darn, that thermal sight is magic.

Just a few minutes ago I was tossing some hay out to the cows. Out of the corner of eye I saw a praying mantis on my shoulder. I tried to brush it off but it kept running around on my back and up my neck. Finally had to take my shirt off and shake it out. That made me chuckle and smile. They're interesting critters.

The second used to be a police officer for the city of Detroit.
I hear wonderful stories from both of them.

Local woman celebrates 105th birthday
NAPOLEON – Not everybody is fortunate enough to see the day they turn 105, but Cecil Burkett just got to celebrate that milestone Wednesday.
This morning we had 2 does and a fawn in the front yard. It made me smile when all 3 of them touched the electric fence.
Don't know why, but a military Black Hawk is circling my area. Very rare.
When I first heard it, I knew it wasn't a life flight type helicopter so I hopped on ADS-B.
What made me smile/laugh is that a little plane in the same area (far right of the picture) was going about as fast as he could go get out of the flight space.

Kobe's soccer team finally won a match. The team he is on is full of rookies (including him) so they are pretty clueless. They lost their first 3 matches this season. Won 3-2 today. He is also the littlest one on the field (literally in every match) and the girls on the teams are taller than he is. But he is pretty quick!
